Thai classical architecture and interior design reflect the ambience of a luxury lifestyle enjoyed at the turn of the 19th century. There are even fascinating black and white photos in the rooms that depict the early bygone era of the 1900s when life progressed at a slower pace. Apart from valuable insights into a past era, the photographs add character to the rooms’ interior design theme that reflects tranquillity; a step back in time.

Antique teakwood furniture, a writing desk and display cabinets dating back to the 1900s, add to the charm of the resort’s reception area, bar and restaurant. The emphasis is on natural materials, such as teak doors and wood furniture as well as the terra cotta tiled floors that create a cool environment and are relaxing and pleasant to the eye. Surrounding two swimming pools and a poolside bar are 20 suites and villas standing in a lush tropical garden.




Soft colours, natural materials and attention to detail give guests a spacious relaxed living space with a full kitchen featuring a microwave, hob, oven and refrigerator. Kitchens have all the utensils and crockery to cook and dine in the suite.

Fully air-conditioned with Wi-Fi throughout, the suite features, a spacious lounge with sofas and comfy chairs and a long balcony overlooking the pool and garden, A spacious bedroom and bathroom are ideal for two people, but the suite can be easily adapted for three-person family. The two-bedroom suites are located directly in front of one of the resort’s two pools. The signature feature is the spacious fully equipped kitchen with microwave, hob, oven, refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. The open kitchen is adjacent to a roomy lounge with sofas, chairs and coffee table, with two large bedrooms and attached bathrooms. All rooms have flat screen TVs. The entire suite is air conditioned, with Wi-Fi throughout even on the balcony that runs the full length of the lounge. This is a perfect holiday suite for four people; two couples, or a family with two children.
Our suites are designed for families and groups that want the freedom to cook a meal at home and also enjoy the full room service menu and dining options of a resort.

The resort features six two-bedroom suites and one three-bedroom suite (similar features in 105 sqm).

There are five poolside villa suites with a pleasing contemporary Thai design highlighting wood fittings and furniture and cool natural-coloured terra cotta tiles. Each of the 65 sqm villas has its own living area that opens to a private patio with chairs and table.

Adjacent to the lounge is a spacious bedroom with a double-bed with its own canopy fitted with a light cotton net curtain for extra privacy. A spacious airy bathroom has a shower area and counter with glass washbasin, toilet amenities and four freshly laundered fluffy towels. The entire villa is fully air conditioned, with fast broadband Wi-Fi, a safe, two flat screen TVs (one in the bedroom and the other in the lounge) a mini bar, coffee & tea making facilities. A comfy sofa awaits guests ideal for an after lunch siesta, before enjoying the poolside Jacuzzi.

Poolside

The Pela Resort offers a traditional Thai massage service on site at the Sala (pavilion) poolside. A poolside bar serves two swimming pools, one suitable for young children, the other with its own Zacuzzi zone.


Food and Beverage

Ambassador Bistro our signature restaurant serves both Thailand and international dishes with an adjacent bar and lounge located in the resort’s reception and lobby wing. There is a small library of international books in the bar/lounge.

The entire resort is Wi-Fi enabled with an Internet corner in reception equipped with desktop computer and printer for guests to check their email.
